Privacy Policy.

We collect the minimum needed to tell you when Farelark is ready. Email, a timestamp, and a little context about how you got here. That's it. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything outside Farelark.

Who we are

Farelark is a pre-launch flight-companion product being built in India. This page covers the marketing website at farelark.com and the waitlist sign-up form. A separate, longer policy will cover the mobile app when it launches.

What we collect from the waitlist

When you enter your email and click "Join waitlist," we store:

The email address you typed.
The date and time of sign-up.
Which form on the page you used (hero vs. bottom CTA — helps us understand the page).
Referrer URL if your browser shared one — i.e. which site sent you here.
UTM parameters from the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, etc.) if present.
Your browser user-agent string — used for spam/abuse defense.

What we don't collect

No IP-address logging beyond what Supabase (our database host) keeps for routine service operations.
No trackers, no pixels, no advertising SDKs, no analytics that follow you across sites.
No cookies from us — only whatever session cookie Supabase sets during form submission, which expires on its own.

How we use it

To send you a single launch notification when Farelark opens to early users.
To understand which referral sources are bringing interested people in (aggregate, not per-person).
To protect the form from bots and abuse.

We do not use your email to sell you anything, forward to partners, or enroll you in any other mailing list.

Who processes your data

Your sign-up is stored on Supabase (a hosted PostgreSQL service). Supabase acts as a data processor for us under their own published terms. We do not transfer your data to any other third party for the waitlist.

How long we keep it

Until we launch, plus the time it takes to send you the launch email. After that, if you don't sign up for an account, we delete your waitlist entry within 30 days of the launch announcement. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will, within 7 days.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the right to:

Ask what personal data we have about you.
Ask us to correct or erase it.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of incapacity or death.
Complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you believe we've mishandled your data.

To exercise any of these, email us at hello@farelark.com from the address you signed up with. We respond within 7 working days.

Children

Farelark is not directed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect waitlist sign-ups from minors. If you believe a minor has signed up, email us and we'll remove the entry.

Changes

This is a pre-launch policy. It will be replaced by a fuller one — including the mobile-app data practices — before Farelark opens to early users. We'll send a note to every waitlist subscriber when that happens.
